The Mall School underwent a regulatory compliance inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) in June 2017.
The Inspection Report concluded that The Mall meets all the standards in the schedule to the Education (Independent School Standards) Regulations 2014, relevant requirements of the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage, and associated requirements. This means that no further action is required as a result of the inspection.
During the two days that the inspectors were in the school, they observed a small sample of lessons, conducted formal interviews with pupils and examined samples of pupils’ work. They held discussions with teachers, senior members of staff and with the chair of governors. The inspectors also saw some of the extra-curricular activities that were taking place and attended registrations and assemblies. They also analysed the responses of parents and pupils to the pre-inspection questionnaires.
