School Trips

We believe that trips and experiences play an important part in your son’s education. The Mall School provides a superb range of exciting trips and experiences for each year group. Below are typical trips and activities the boys  have enjoyed in recent years.

Reception

Bocketts Farm, Animal Man, Orleans Gallery clay modelling workshop, road safety training.

Year 1

London Zoo, Animal Man, the mobile planetarium, road safety training.

Year 2

London Aquarium, Living Rainforest, scooter training.

Year 3

Science Museum, PGL Activity Weekend, RAF Museum Hendon, Holly Lodge Victorian School visit, road safety training.

Year 4

Puzzle workshops, Orleans Gallery printing workshop, Butser Ancient Farm.

Year 5

A school-based STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) activity day; science activities at The Stockyard, Bushy Park; two-day trip to France; Orange Tree Theatre visit and workshops.

Year 6

Street dance workshop, Junior Citizenship Day; Hampton Court; Marwell Activity Centre. A full Leavers Programme including a residential week-long trip to Wales, Go Ape, theatre visits and other activities on and off the school site.

Year 8

School-based STEM (science, technology, engineering, maths) activity day; Portsmouth Historic Boatyard; Outward Bound week to Wales; a full Leavers Programme including an entrepreneurial challenge, Go Ape, theatre visits and other activities on and off the school site.
