5T both educated and entertained with their assembly about the 1980s. Opening with a powerful rendition of ‘Eye of the Tiger’, they delved into the history of The Mall School site in 1988 before taking a wider look at Britain and the rest of the world during this period. There was audience participation with interactive quizzes involving the popular films and video games of the era as well as a general quiz about the 1980s.
