Ensemble Concert 2023

The ensemble concert by the children was truly a magical experience. The young musicians, took the stage with confidence and poise, ready to showcase their talents to the audience.
The concert began with the Rock Band singing ‘I’m a Believer’. The sweet sound of the piano set the tone for the rest of the concert, as the audience was transported to a world of music and wonder.
The concert continued with a variety of musical styles and instruments, showcasing the diverse talents of the young musicians. The choir played a piece with precision and skill on a lively song – Howdy High D! The percussion section added a touch of energy to the concert with their drums and xylophones, and a group of flutists played a graceful and melodic piece.
One of the highlights of the concert was a the Wind Band who played Camel train Boogaloo, complex and challenging piece with ease and grace. The audience was in awe of their talent and skill, and they got a ‘once more’ from the audience.
The concert also featured a number of ensemble pieces, where the young musicians came together to play as one. The harmony and coordination between the players was truly impressive, and it was clear that they had spent a lot of time rehearsing and perfecting their performances.
