Year 4 – Swimming

17th February 22

Y4 swimming lessons have continued to develop the boys stroke technique. Boys are aiming to become more consistent while using their different stroke actions. On front crawl and backstroke the boys are becoming more powerful through the water. At this time, boys are also working to refine their coordination and timing of breaststroke. On a regular basis pupils are timed in one length races to check how they are progressing. A Mall school swimming reward system is also used. This allows boys to receive different certificates, if they reach certain standards on each stroke.
