3 children looking at their own PCs

Sports Coach (Part time)

The successful applicant will have a passion for sport and a willingness to enthuse the boys in their care. All boys, no matter what their ability, are encouraged to develop and make progress and they all have many opportunities to represent their house and school in rugby, football and cricket fixtures against other schools. Our home ground is Sunbury Cricket Club.

During the course of the year there are a small number of weekend tournaments which the successful candidate would be required to attend.

The post would suit an experienced coach looking for the challenge of achieving high standards from pupils. It would equally suit someone aspiring to become a teacher, who wants to start in an excellent school under the leadership and guidance of an experienced and well qualified Head of Sport.

The part time post is for one year initially with the possibility of becoming a permanent position. The hours are four days a week 1.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) term time only (including two days at the start of each term).

We offer a competitive salary depending on experience and qualifications. The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
