Winchester Science Museum – Year 6

11th October 23

We are extremely fortunate to have a fully equipped science laboratory at The Mall which the pupils start to use from Year 4 to carry out experiments. The trip to the Winchester Science Museum was an opportunity to extend what they have learnt through a series of exciting interactive exhibits focusing on the solar system and space exploration. In a special workshop, pupils used their programming skills to make a robot perform a dance with disco lights. The culmination of the visit was a journey through our solar system at the planetarium, which was hugely impressive.
