Year 6 had a most enjoyable and informative trip to the Winchester Science Centre last week.

There are lots of interactive exhibits and accompanying displays on all manner of scientific topics to engage the pupils. The highlights are a workshop to test rockets powered by meths vapour, and an impressive planetarium show, which takes the audience on a trip through space.

The children are always happy to learn and this was a fabulous experience for them to see various topics which they have been learning about at school. They all showed great enthusiasm and got involved in all of the activities. They especially loved the planetarium show.
