Year 2 to 3 at Richmond Singing Festival

Our Junior Choir recently took part in the very exciting Richmond Singing Festival at the Rose Theatre in Kingston.

This is an annual event involving schools from all over the borough who come together to sing four ‘big songs’ en masse and then two songs with one other partner school on the stage with a live band, and in front of a large audience of parents and children. This year the theme was ‘Weather’ and Years 2 and 3 were magnificent in their performances of ‘Touch the Sky’ from ‘Brave’ and probably their favourite song – ‘Fish in the Sea’ – a shanty enhanced by the use of some rather fabulous props in the shape of large stuffed sharks, eels and whales.

Well done to all of our amazing pupils who took part!
