Epsom college country cross event

The Epsom College cross country event took place last Friday, featuring our enthusiastic Year 5 and Year 6 squads up against 30 other schools. There were nearly 200 runners in the Year 5 category, with 170 in the Year 6 event.
The Epsom course, known for its challenging layout, continued to live up to its reputation, including the kilometre-long uphill stretch.
Despite many of our pupils being newcomers to the world of cross country running, they demonstrated exceptional perseverance and commitment. In the team events, the Year 6 squad achieved an impressive 4th place, while the Year 5 squad secured the 19th position.
