The 1970s assembly

5th June 23

3LE had their class assembly celebrating the 1970s as part of The Mall’s sesquicentennial celebrations. We heard about decimalisation, Mrs Thatcher coming to power and saw clips of what the very first computer games looked like. 3LE looked suitably groovy in their 1970s costumes and gave brilliant renditions of ‘We Go Together’ from Grease and Abba’s 1974 Eurovision winning entry ‘Waterloo’.
