Musicals at the Mall

13th April 23

students in large groups performing in a production

Parents were treated to our annual Musicals at the Mall evening, starring all the Year 3, 4 and 5 pupils. Year 3 were dressed as monkeys and performed three songs from The Jungle Book, starting with The Bare Necessities which involved dancing like chimpanzees. Year 4 took us back 4000 years to the Arabian desert: They performed three tightly choreographed songs from Aladdin, starring Jasper Sekhon and Oki Takahashi-Cuthbert as Aladdin and Princess Jasmine. Finally, Year 5 moved us to Canaan in 1700 BC, to tell us the story of Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat. Starring Aarav Saxena as Joseph, George Lyons as Jacob and Ruien Song as the Pharaoh, Year 5 demonstrated how professional our pupils can be, performing seven songs filled with dance, story-telling and even some performing cows and ears of corn!
