Swimming Gala
20th February 23
A team of Year 4 to 6 swimmers travelled to Whitgift School to compete in the IAPs qualifying event. Swimmers from across the country attend events with the top 20 swimmers invited to the finals held at the London Aquatics centre. The team competed in individual races and two relay events and we await the overall results to see if any of them have qualified for the finals.
Later in the week we also took part in the Richmond Borough Schools swimming gala where they all placed highly in the individual and relay events. We are still waiting the overall result but are hopeful we have retained the independent boys and overall boys titles. Some outstanding performances from Alex, Maxwell, Seb and George in the individual races. Results for their events will be with us after half term.
The final event of the borough gala was a relay which The mall team won. Congratulations to Sam, Viraj, Kaartikan and Sam.
