Welcome to The Mall School. We are a proudly academic school with excellent 11+ results, promoting ambition, achievement and authenticity in our children through genuinely small class-sizes. Our rigorous curriculum, state-of-the-art facilities and enriching learning environment help children become confident, articulate and compassionate young citizens.
Alongside academic excellence, our outstanding co-curricular programme, in-house swim school and wide-ranging enrichment opportunities ensure pupils flourish throughout the school day, while curiosity and humour remain central to developing our children’s character, fit for a modern education.
Here are 5 stories about 5 girls! [Names have been changed]
1. Meet Maya. She joined us in Reception last year and is thriving. Maya loves her art but also phonics and playtimes. She has made enormous progress this year, with the most notable being her confidence. Maya expresses herself in class and contributes brilliantly during assemblies. She loves to read but also loves to sketch characters in her stories.
2. Milly. Having a brother at the school has really helped her – she is often playing with the older children on the climbing frame after school, but also loves her arts and crafts and helping in the school garden. Milly takes part in the Craft Club, Acro Gymnastics, Swimming and Dance Club. When we asked her what she liked about the school, she said “I love the climbing frame, my favourite lesson is comprehension with Miss Topsch and the lunch is yummy”.
3. A confident pianist, Amber loves performing! Her piano skills are really taking off. She also loves the Explorer & Lego Club, Play-Doh, Acro Gymnastics and Year 1-2 Craft club. Amber is a very active pupil who takes part in school life, including being a crucial member of the school council. She always has something to say about how the school can improve!
4. Being active is so important for Aria. She swims for the school, plays football and rugby, but is also a keen athlete outside of school – frequently running 5K on a Sunday! Aria is driven and highly motivated, yet caring and supporting of her peers in equal measure. She is always ready to represent the school.
5. Eloise’s journey since September has been transformational! She has experienced so many ‘firsts’ since joining us – joined a swimming squad, played contact rugby, made origami objects, performed in the Diwali assembly – the list goes on! Eloise`s recent exam results were her highest achieving yet.
