Our Year 6 leavers have achieved fantastic 11+ results this year. As well as being offered places at a wide range of senior schools, including some of the most academically selective locally, The Mall pupils have also been awarded numerous scholarships.
In 2025, 96% of pupils received at least two senior school offers with more than half (55%) of pupils offered places at three or more schools. 35% of pupils sitting independent senior school exams have been awarded academic, music, art or sports scholarships from schools including:
The Mall has an enviable track record in preparing pupils for successful entry to senior schools in the highly competitive London market. In 2025, our Year 6 pupils were offered 76 places at 23 highly academically selective schools including KCS Wimbledon, Hampton, Kingston Grammar School, St Paul’s, Tiffin and Queen Elizabeth Barnet.
We help pupils prepare for 11+ exams on paper and on screen, encouraging regular use of online revision to support pupils with navigating computer systems similar to the ones used in 11+ exams. In the autumn term of Year 6, every child in the year group practices school interviews, in person and virtually. It is an encouraging, fun experience and helps them to prepare well.
There is no such thing as the right school, only the right school for the individual child. We work with parents to identify possible schools for their child and the Headmaster will begin discussions from Year 4. Parents are invited to a series of future schools events where they learn about the application and entrance process as well as how the school supports them and their children.
Parents can meet admissions and senior staff from a wide range of independent senior schools at our annual senior school fair in the spring term.
Our overall aim is to prepare pupils academically and socially so they can move on confidently to their next school and flourish.
Parents value the support and guidance that they and their children receive from the school throughout the 11+ process.
